7. FLASH MEMORY PROGRAMMING
The flash memory of the

PD78F4046 mounted on the target board
(on-board writing). To write to the flash memory, connect a dedicated flash writer

7.1 Selecting Communication Mode
The flash memory is written to by using a dedicated flash writer and by means of serial communication. Select
a communication mode from those listed in Table 7-1. To select a communication mode, use the format shown
in Figure 7-1. Each communication mode is selected by the number of V

pulses shown in Table 7-1.
