5.3 PROM Read Procedure
The contents of PROM are readable to the external data bus (D0 to D7) according to the read procedure shown
below.
(1) Fix the RESET pin at low level, supply +5 V to the V
PP
pin, and connect all other unused pins as shown in
PIN
CONFIGURATION (2) PROM programming mode

(2) Supply +5 V to the V
DD
and V
PP
pins.
(3) Input address of read data into the A0 to A16 pins.
(4) Read mode
(5) Output data to D0 to D7 pins.
The timings of the above steps (2) to (5) are shown in Figure 5-5.
