When servicing a General TD, the HC gets the next memory address from CurrentBufferPointer. When data is
sent to or from the CurrentBufferPointer address, the data may be too large to fit onto one physical page and may
therefore occupy several pages. In such cases, the high-order 20 bits of BufferEnd are used instead of the high-
order 20 bits of CurrentBufferPointer as the address’s high-order 20 bits. The maximum amount of data that can be
transferred between devices is their the ED’s MaximumPacketSize value or the remaining buffer size, whichever is
smaller.
After determining the packet size, the HC must check whether or not it can send the packet before the end of the
frame. If the value of the bit time request for the packet to be sent is greater than the frame’s remaining bit time value,
the packet cannot be sent.
