Unmanaged Desktop Dual Speed Hubs
The recently upgraded DX range of dual speed hubs now affords complete flexibility.
Available in 5, 8 and 16 port versions the hubs auto-negotiate between 10 Base T and
100 Base TX operation. The 4 port version only works as either all ports 10 Base T or all
ports 100 Base TX.
Each unit is a useful desktop size and supplied complete, where necessary, with a cable
management bar.
Features:
Allows connection of both 10 Mbps and 100 Mbps users to the same hub
Hubs are stackable in groups of 5 (link cable included) - possible 80
ports per stack, stacking cable (DE-726) available separately
Connection via the MDI ports enables the cascading of 2 stacks without
increasing the repeater count (gives maximum port density of 78 for
DFE-908DXs and 158 for DFE-916DXs)

Unmanaged Rackmount Dual Speed Hubs
This rack mount range of dual speed hubs provide the ultimate in network hub flexibility.
The units can be supplied as Master units with the switch module (DFE-260S) already
installed as with models DFE-2616X and DFE-2624X. With these hubs each segment is
transparent; networks can mix Ethernet and Fast Ethernet connections to a hub.
Client hubs without the switch fitted (DFE-2624 & DFE-2616) can only work at either of the
network speeds - 10 Mbps OR 100 Mbps.
Features:
No configuring required with Master hubs (DFE-2624X & DFE-2616X) - they
provide auto sensing between the 10 Base T and 100 Base TX backplanes
Stackable in groups of 5 (link included); cascading of 2 stacks is possible
via the MDI port
Cascading of 2 stacks gives possible 238 UTP port density
Only 1 Master hub required to control a hub stack (max 120 ports)
Optional modules allow alternative 100 Base FX connection
Advanced SNMP management possible via DFE- XXXX “I” and “IX” models
