To meet the requirements for I/O connectors
on AdvancedTCA and AdvancedMC cards,
Tyco Electronics has released new low
profile RJ45 modular jacks. The offset from
the board is designed such that it fits in
an AdvancedMC half height faceplate.
These jacks are shielded and include
panel ground springs for EMI containment.
They are available in single port and 1x4
configurations, with and without LEDs, and
are designed for GigE performance.
