GENERAL DESCRIPTION
EM20055A is a single chip voice synthesizer IC. With the built-in masked ROM, the chip may synthesize speech
phrase, imitate animal voice, or produce special sound effect. The voice data that has been edited by PCM tooling
system is programmed into masked ROM during IC fabrication. The maximum voice duration of EM20055A is
3-4 seconds (depends on the characteristics of sysnthesized voice).
EM20055A has been designed in flexible voice trigger method, which provides multiple jump and repeat function
of voice section.The voice volume and playing speed is programmable on EM20055A. This chip provides 4 step
adjustment for volume and playing speed, that can enlarge the synthesized voice length and diversify the voice
content.
FEATURES
Single power supply 2.7V-5.0V.
3-4 seconds voice capacity.
Voice volume and playing speed is programmable.
Voice duration can be separated into maximum 6 sections with arbitrary length.
Provides 4 voices trigger, each triggered voice output is the user's defined combination (with mask option)
of six voice sections.
Maximum repeat number : 59 notes.
Provides One-shot mode and Level-hold mode for trigger control.
Provides One key trigger mode.
Switch and cds trigger input interface are provided.
16 pins DIP package form\Bare chip form.
Provides voice playing indication signals & stop pulse output.
Pause duration between voice sections is selected by mask option.
