FUNCTION DESCRIPTIONS
System Setup when Initial Use
Before using the handset when first time power up, the ID code and channel setting must be aligned between
handset and base unit. It can be done by putting the handset unit on the base unit charge cradle for more than 2
seconds. After the alignment finished, a beep sound will be generated by the handset unit. This setup runs
automatically whenever the handset is placed back to the base unit charge cardle.
1. Set the handset ON/OFF switch to “ON” position (ON/OFF pin=high).
2. Put the handset on the charge cradle of the base unit for more than 2 seconds. If ON/OFF switch is in “OFF”
position, there must be extra circuitry to force the ON/OFF pin from low to high.
3. A short beep sound generated from the handset when system alignment finished.
Note : When using with EM32100 LCD driver, it will display either real time clock or blank depending on the
setting of EM32100 ENRTC pin.
