GENERAL DESCRIPTION
EM95120 is a CMOS integrated circuit for high performance LCD ( 16-digit ) telephone with commercial
calculator ( 8-digit ) function.
The EM95120 provides a LNB redial buffer ( 32-digit ), 13 sets repertory memories ( 16-digits and 32-digits )
and a LCD panel driver (16-digit ). It also provides Tone/Pulse dialing, memory dialing, dialing number display,
lock dialing and password function, a special I.P.P. detect function ( Illegal Parallel Phone Detect ) can prevent
the illegal connect external phone, 10 sets last number buffer ( 16-digits ) and conversation timer ( stopwatch
) function, Auto-repeated dialing ( ARD ) function, calendar and real time clock function.
The calculator provided by EM95120 has 8-digit four function arithmetic operations, constant calculations,
memory calculations, extraction of square root and percentage calculation, leading zero and trailing zero
suppression, chain calculations.
Low power dissipation and single power supply making the chip ideal for high-end telephone application with
low system cost.
FEATURES
General:
Wide operating voltage from 2.4V to 5.5V.
3 volt or 4.5 volt, 1/4 duty, 1/3 bias, 16-digits LCD panel driver.
Calendar and Real Time Clock function with 12/24-hour format.
Alarm clock function ( 12-hour format ).
Stopwatch function for counting conversation time up to 59 minutes 59 seconds.
Memory loss detection with blinking ( 0.5sec on / 0.5sec off ) LCD display.
Low-battery detection and indication.
No-battery detection with automation “ ON/OFF ” LCD displays.
Low cost 32768 Hz and 3.579545 MHz crystal or resonator is used for system timing.
Dialer:
Flexible way to change the dialing parameters by Resistor/Diode option.
A 32-digit LNB ( Last Number ) redial buffer.
13-set repertory memories with check.
a. 3-sets one-touch memories with capacity up to 32 digits each ( for BB-call design ).
b. 10-sets two-touch memories with capacity up to 16 digits each.
10 last number buffer ( 16-digits ) and Last conversation time ( stopwatch ) with check.
Pre-dial and check with dial sequence edition.
Auto dial-out after off hook ( handfree ) while the pre-dialing.
9 sets lock dialing provides conventionality key lock with capacity up to 4-digits and password lock ( 4-
digits ) operations. Prevent talking dial illegal dialing.
Auto-repeated dialing (ARD) function with call progress tone detection.
First number ( 0 or 9 ) dialing after the system auto-inset 0 to 2 pause time ( 1 sec ).
MIC. Mute and Line hold function.
