Stereo applications
In some stereo decoding input applications, the input
impedance is comparatively low resulting in
distortion in the L-R signal and a degradation of the
stereo characteristics. If this is a problem, add a
resistor between pin 1 and ground.

SIF FILTER
Connection for a filter that holds the FM detector
output DC voltage level fixed. Normally, a 1
F
electrolytic capacitor is used. To improve the low
band (around 50Hz) frequency characteristics,
increase the value of this capacitor (C1). The FM
detector output level can be lowered by inserting a
resistor (R) in series with this capacitor. This can
increase the FM dynamic range.
