formanyapplications.

a55pFcapacitor(CIN)inserieswitha100resistor
(RON),asshowninFigure3a.CINgetsswitchedtothe
selectedinputonceduringeachconversion.Largefilter
RCtimeconstantswillslowthesettlingoftheinputs.
ItisimportantthattheoverallRCtimeconstantsbe
shortenoughtoallowtheanaloginputstocompletely
settleto12-bitresolutionwithintheacquisitiontime
(tACQ)ifDCaccuracyisimportant.
