CONNECTING THE SAWTOOTH WAVEFORM OSCILLATOR

Connection for internal oscillation
For internal oscillation, connect the frequency setting capacitor (C
T
) and resistor (R
T
) to the C
T
pin (pin 3) and
leave the SYNC pin (pin 4) open or connect it to GND.
The oscillation frequency can be set with the C
T
and R
T
constants.
2.
Connection for external synchronous oscillation
For external synchronous oscillation, connect the frequency setting capacitor (C
T
) and resistor (R
T
) to the C
T
pin
(pin 3) and connect the external sync signal to the SYNC pin (pin 4).
In this case, select the C
T
and R
T
conditions so that the oscillation frequency is 5% to 10% lower than the
frequency of the external sync signal excluding the setting error of the oscillation frequency.
