parallelwithacommoninput.Parallelingisaccomplishedby
connectingtheoutputvoltagepinsdirectlyandusingaload
sharingdeviceontheinput.Layoutconsiderationsshouldbe
madetoavoidloadimbalance.Formoredetailsonparallel-
ing,pleaseconsultyourlocalapplicationssupport.
Input Undervoltage Lockout
ThePMB4000SeriesDC/DCregulatorsareequippedwitha
lockoutfunctionforlowinputvoltage.Whentheinputvoltage
isbelowtheundervoltagelockoutlimitoftheregulatoritwill
shutoff.Whentheinputvoltageincreasesabovethelockout
leveltheregulatorwillturnon.
AcombinationoflowESRandoutputcapacitance
exceeding8mFcancausetheregulatorintoovercurrent
protectionmode(hick-up)duetohighstartupcurrent.The
outputfiltermustthereforebedesignedwithoutexceeding
theabovestatedcapacitancelevelsiftheESRislowerthan
