usingasuitableopencollectorfunction.
TurnoffisachievedbyconnectingtheRCpintotheinput
voltage.
TheregulatorwillruninnormaloperationwhentheRCpinis
leftopen.
AllPMB4000SeriesDC/DCregulatorshaveapositivere-
motesensepinthatcanbeusedtocompensateformoder-
ateamountsofresistanceinthedistributionsystemandal-
lowforvoltageregulationattheloadorotherselectedpoint.
Theremotesenselinewillcarryverylittlecurrentanddoes
notneedalargecrosssectionalarea.However,thesense
lineonthePCBshouldbelocatedclosetoagroundtraceor
groundplane.Theremotesensecircuitrywillcompensatefor
upto10%voltagedropbetweenthesensevoltageandthe
voltageattheoutputpinsfromVOnom.Iftheremotesenseis
notneededthesensepinshouldbeleftopen.
