Noise estimator
The threshold value N_thr for the filters is calculated in the noise estimator block (see Fig.3). There are four options for
producing the N_thr value:
1.
Pre-filter gain setting (YpScale)
2.
W
val
selects the sensitivity of the noise estimator
3.
TASTE (TS) scales the N_thr linear
4.
NTHR is externally applied when the noise estimator is disabled by the control bit ExThr of the Status Register.
