Functional
Description
The STS12CFRM operates in full-duplex mode, and comprises four blocks
(see
Figure 2
):
The following list of functions is based on a full-feature
STS12CFRM. See
Table 2
for all possible options.

Transport overhead receiver (RXTOH)

Performs frame alignment

Maintains counters and buffers

Captures the TOH bytes for processing by software, and
parameterized hardware extraction
