Pleasepay attention tothefollowingsin handling TFT-LCD products;
(1) ASSEMBLY PRECAUTION
a.Please use the m ounting hole on the m odule in installing and do notbending or wrenching
LCD in assem bling.And pleasedonotdrop,bend ortwistLCD m odulein handling.
b.Pleasedesign display housing in accordancewith thefollowing guidelines.
(a)H ousing casem ustbedesigned carefully soasnottoputstresseson LCD allsidesand not
to wrench m odule. The stresses m ay cause non-uniform ity even if there is no non-
uniform ity statically.
(b)Keep sufficientclearance between LCD m odule back surface and housing when the LCD
m odule ism ounted.Approxim ately 1.0m m ofthe clearance in the design is recom m ended
taking intoaccountthetoleranceofLCD m odule thicknessand m ounting structureheight
on thehousing.
(c)W hen som eparts,such as,FPC cable and ferrite plate,are installed underneath the LCD
m odule,stillsufficientclearance isrequired,such as0.5m m .Thisclearance is,especially,
tobereconsidered when theadditionalpartsareim plem ented forEM Icounterm easure.
(d)Design the inverter location and connector position carefully so as not to give stress to
lam p cable,ornottointerfacetheLCD m oduleby thelam p cable.
(e)Keep sufficientclearancebetween LCD m oduleand theothersparts,such asinverterand
speakerso as notto interface the LCD m odule.Approxim ately 1.0m m ofthe clearance in
thedesign isrecom m ended.
c.Please do notpush or scratch LCD panelsurface with anything hard.And do notsoilLCD
panelsurfaceby touching with barehands.(Polarizerfilm ,surfaceofLCD paneliseasy tobe
flawed.)
d.Please do notpress any parts on the rearside such as source TCP,gate TCP,controlcircuit
board and FPCs during handling LCD m odule.Ifpressing rear partis unavoidable,handle
theLCD m odulewith carenottodam agethem .
e.PleasewipeoffLCD panelsurfacewith absorbentcotton orsoftcloth in caseofitbeing soiled.
f.Please wipe offdrops ofadhesives like saliva and water on LCD panelsurface im m ediately.
They m ightdam agetocausepanelsurfacevariation and colorchange.
g.Please do nottake a LCD m odule to pieces and reconstructit.Resolving and reconstructing
m odulesm ay causethem nottowork well.
h.Please do nottouch m etalfram es with bare hands and soiled gloves.A color change ofthe
m etalfram escan happen during a long preservation ofsoiled LCD m odules.
i.Please pay attention to handling lead wire ofbacklightso thatitis nottugged in connecting
with inverter.
