Description
The V6130 of ers a high level of in e gra ion by volt age
mon or ng and soft ware mon or ng in an 8 lead pack
age. A com para or mon ors the volt age ap plied at the V
IN
in put com par ng it with an in er nal 1.17 V ref er ence. The
power-on re set func ion is in ial zed af er V
IN
reaches 1.17
V and takes the re set out put in ac ive af er T

of ex er nal re sis ance. The re set out put goes ac ive low
when the V
volt age is less than 1.17 V. The RES and EN
out puts are guar an eed to be in a cor ect state for a sup
ply volt age as low as 1.2 V. The watch dog func ion mon
tors soft ware cy cle time and ex e cu ion. If the soft ware
clears the watch dog too quickly (in cor ect cy cle time) or
too slowly (in cor ect ex e cu ion) it will cause the sys em to
be re set. The sys em en able out put pre vents crit cal con
trol func ions be ng ac i vated un il soft ware has suc cess
fully cleared the watch dog three times. Such a se cu ity
could be used to pre vent mo or con rols be ng en er gized
on re peated re sets of a faulty sys em.
