2 Configuration of Time-base Timer
The time-base timer consists of the following four blocks:
Time-base timer counter
Counter clear circuit
Interval timer selector
Time-base timer control register (TBTC)

Time-base timer counter
This is a 20-bit up counter that uses the original oscillation divided by 2 as the count clock.
Counter clear circuit
This clears the counter according to the setting of the TBTC register (TBR = 0) as well as when control
transits to the stop mode (STBC: STP = 1) or at a power-on reset (option).
Interval timer selector
This is a circuit to select the interval timer bit from the four bits of the time-base timer counter; the
overflow of the selected bit becomes an interrupt factor.
Time-base timer control register (TBTC)
This selects the interval time, clears the counter, and performs interrupt control and state check.
