II.4.4 - Sidetone Programmatingfor PABX
Application
When the tracking sidetone network is used, it is
possibleto inhibititthroughtheserial businterface.
This principle suppresses the switches existing in
a telephoneset, when this one can be indifferently
connected to a public exchange or a private ex-
change.Whenitisconnectedonapublicexchange
the tracking sidetone network is used. When it is
connectedonaprivateexchangethetrackingside-
tonenetworkis inhibited,internallythe kILinforma-
tionwhich controlsthesidetonemixerstageisfixed
independently of the line current value, and can
take two values :
- By sending the code 0011000, the sidetone net-
work is equivalentto :
