Explainsabouteach status
DigitalPow er ON R eady
Itisthe condition before starting a digitalpow ersupply.
H ardw are Reset
The digitalpow er supply has been turned on.Immediately after ithas turned on,always enter the hardw are
resetting data.
Analog Pow er ON R eady
Itis the condition before starting a analog pow er supply.Turn on the analog pow er supply after the digital
section hasbeen initialized.
Analog Pow er Dow n mode
Itisthe state thatthe consum ption electric pow erofthe analog partisminimum.
Afterthe analog pow ersupply hasbeen turned on,the entire analog section isin the pow erdow n state.In order
to proceed to the nextstep Initialized state,use the procedure described on page 20.The pow erofthe analog
section hasbeen reduced.The pow erconsum ption ofthe analog section can be reduced.
Be sure to take the procedure to reduce the pow erofthe analog section from the initialized state.(Thatis,each
volum e mustbe setto "M U ITE".)
Itispossible to selectthe pointwhere the pow erisreduced depending on the use purpose.Forthe details,refer
to "Pow er-dow n sequence"on pages20 and 21.
To turn offthe analog pow ersupply,alwaystake the necessary procedure from thisstate.
Initialized
Becom esthisstate when itcom esoutofthe pow erdow n m ode ofthe analog part,the digitalpart.
A nd,move to the pow erdow n m ode from thisstate.
STO P
The volum e muting function hasbeen cancelled and the timbre data settingshave been com pleted.In thisstate,
FIFO isem pty.Thisstate isrestored when the melody reproduction isstopped.
Also,the procedure to reduce the pow erofthe digitalsection can be taken from this state.This state willbe
restored when the pow er-dow n function iscancelled.
PLAY Standby
Writing the musicalscore data into FIFO has been com pleted and ready formelody reproduction.Setting "1"
forthe ST bitwillsetforthe nextPLA Y m ode.Itis possible to take the procedure to reduce the pow erofthe
digital section from this state.How ever,the STO P state w ill be restored after the pow er-dow n function is
cancelled.
PLAY
The m elody is being reproduced.Setting “0” for the ST bit will set to the STO P m ode.It is prohibited to
change the digitalsection from thism ode to the pow erdow n m ode.(Itmay cause noisesto occur.)
DigitalPow er Dow n mode
The pow erofthe digitalsection hasbeen reduced.("1"setforDP bit)
As clocks are not inputted inside of the LSI even w hen they are inputted to the CLK _I terminal, pow er
consum ption ofthe digitalsection can be reduced.Before proceeding to this m ode,setboth HP volum e and
FM volum e to "M U TE".
