Flash function
The [ F ] key is used by some special services (like call waiting) offered by your phone company. It provides four
different line break times, 600ms, 300ms, 100ms and 80ms.
1. Talking to the first caller.
2. If a call is coming during conversation, then a call waiting signal will be heard.
3. Press [ F ] key to talk to another caller.
4. Press [ F ] key again to switch to the first caller.
Besides, the [ F ] key may also be used to get a new dial tone (line break) to make a new call or transferring
a call in some PBX system. (like “F, 2, 2, 0” that 220 is the extension number in your PBX system)
Note : When pressing [ F ] key, the LCD panel will be cleared and current using channel number will be
shown again at handset unit.
Mixed dialing
If your cordless phone is installed on the pulse system and pulse mode is selected, use [ */T ] key to access special
services which require tone signals, e.g. remote control answering machine.
1. Dial the number you want to call, e.g. 5 5 3 0 1 9, in pulse mode.
2. When your call is answered, press [ */T ] key to change the dialing mode to tone mode temporarily.
3. The number dialed out is in tone mode now.
At handset, the LCD panel content is as follows.
Cascade Dialing
During normal dialing, the memory key (direct or indirect) is used to recall the memory content, e.g. IDD code,
access code or stored telephone number. To recall direct memory, press [EM1], [EM2] or [EM3]. To recall
indirect memory, press [PGM] and then press the memory location number, 0 - 9.
The overlapping situation (digits stored in LNB overrun) will occur if the length of cascading digit is more than
length of LNB (32 digits).
At handset, the LCD will display the format as below while doing cascade dialing.
i.e. 2 3 EM1 PGM 4 5.
During cascade dialing at handset, the recall memory content will not be shown on LCD panel.
Instead, it shows the symbols |_ n _| for direct memory and |_Pm_| for indirect memory where “n” is the direct
memory location number and “m” is the indirect memory location number.
For memory recall, it occupies minimum of two digits size in LNB buffer whereas only one digit is stored in that
memory.
Pause function
Pause function supports the access time (3.6 sec or P key) to access the outside line in PBX system. Sometimes,
the pause time is also used in pager system for linked acknowledgement.
