Multiple P keys can be used in long time pause.
1. Dial the access number in PBX system, i.e. 9.
2. Press [ P ] key to skip the dial tone waiting time.
3. Press the outside line calling number, i.e. 3 0 1 9 9.
Pause key can be stored into redial or memory for speed dialing.
At handset, the LCD panel content is as follows.
Testing mode
This set of controller provides a completed testing mode for production alignment such as RF signal, audio signal
tuning and data modulation that can be done in all 10 different channels.
At handset unit
There are three ways to enter to test mode.
1. Set ON/OFF switch to “off” position
→
Hold the [ */T ] and [ # ] keys simultaneously
→
Set ON/OFF switch
to “on” position
→
Release keys and a beep tone is heard.
2.Set ON/OFF switch to “off” position
→
Set /PTEST pin to Vss
→
Set ON/OFF switch to “on” position
→
A beep
tone is heard, then /PTEST pin can be opened.
3. When the handset is using in standby mode, hold and release [ F ] and [ 4 ] keys simultaneously.
(Quick test - without opening the case or move ON/OFF switch)
In the default voice testing mode, the handset controller set the following output pins as follows.
/RXPWR=0, /TXPWR=0, /RXMUT=1, /TXMUT=1 and /TLKLED=0
default the channel in CH 5 (D3-D0 = 0101).
It can press the [ CH ] key to test another channel.
To go to data modulation test, press [ */T ] key. The DATO pins will output repeated “1” and “0” data and both
/RXMUT and /TXMUT will set to “l(fā)ow” state. Press [ */T ] again to toggle to voice testing mode.
When enter voice test mode, the TXPWR, TXMUTE pins can be controlled following operation :

To exit test mode, press “TLK” key or set the ON/OFF switch to “off” or put the handset on the charge cradle.
( Flash ) - clear the LCD panel and start conservation timer.
