- checkof the positionofthe received bitsopening
window at the time bases
- checkof theparity bit
- checkoftheabsenceofpulsesbetweentheparity
bit and thestop pulse
- checkofnoiselevel;the receiverchecksparasitic
transientsinside and outside the time windows.
If the above test conditions are not fulfilled, the
received word is rejected and not decoded. If the
received signal is acknowledgedas a valid word it
is storedan decoded.
The end of transmission will be acknowledgedby
receivingthe endoftransmissioncodeorbymeans
of an internal timer if the transmission remains
interruptedfor more than about 550ms.
PINS 12 & 13 : AFT1-AFT2(STOP/AFT INPUTS)
These pins are enabled during the automatic
search and during normal operation, when the
digital AFT is enabled (see description of Pin 17).
The STOP/AFT inputs are also disabledinternally
duringanyprogramorbandchangefortheduration
of the Mute signal.
