The ±1300
μ
m version Quick Mount bending element
may be used as an actuator and / or sensor. It is ready to
be used immediately. The standard T220-A4-503 bending
element is wired for low voltage operation and the PCB to
which it has been mounted may be attached to mechanical
ground using the two #4-40 mounting holes provided. A
bleed resistor across the terminals protects the transduc-
er from thermal transients. The user must provide the
mechanical connection between the transducer tip and
their load.
As an actuator, the transducer provides large deflection
and moderate force at low frequencies.

are stocked for “off-the-shelf” delivery. Custom sizes and
