interfacing the ’AV220 to the TMS320AV120
The ’AV220 and the ’AV120 MPEG audio decoders are designed to connect directly to each other with no glue
logic. The following table shows how to connect the ’AV120 pins. For pins not shown, refer to the ’AV120
documentation. Because the ’AV220 does not send data to the audio decoder at a constant bit rate, the ’AV120
PCM_ERR signal should not be used.
