TAPE-BASED TAD CONTROLLER WITH DTMF REMOTE CONTROL
8.1.1998
1. Pressing control code “1” to play back messages remotely.
The tape will now rewind to the beginning and incoming messages will start playing. After the last message has
been played, 2 beep tones will be emitted to confirm there are no more messages.
If there is no message to play, an error response, 4 beep tones, will be emitted by EM93010.
You can try to save messages by entering control code “4”. (See “Saving your messages” below.) And try step
1. Again.
Special playback features
During playback you can fast forward, stop, or rewind just as if you were at home by the machine. To operate
these special features, follow step 1. above to begin playback.
Fast forward - to fast forward the tape, press “9” key. To resume normal playback press the “8” key.
If instead you allowed the tape to fast forward to the end, you will hear 2 beep tones, and the machine will stop
fast forwarding. You can proceed with other remote commands.
Stop - if at any time you wish to stop playback, press the “8” key. You will hear two beep tones to confirm stop.
You can proceed with other remote commands.
Rewind - To rewind the tape, press the “7” key. To resume normal playback, press “8” key. If instead you allow
the tape to rewind all the way to the beginning, you will hear two beep tones, and the answering machine will stop
rewinding and resume normal playback.
Changing your OGM (outgoing message) - control code “3”
1. Press control code “3” key on the phone to change OGM remotely.
2. After hearing a long beep tone, begin saying the new OGM.
3. Press another “3” code when finish.
Another beep tone will be issued and the newly recorded OGM will be played.
Note: All messages will be erased after a new OGM (outgoing message) is recorded.
Saving your messages - control code “4”
1. Press control code “4” to save messages.
2. Two beep tones will be emitted, if the messages have been successfully saved.
If there are no old messages to save, or there are messages already, an “error” response, 4 beep tones will be given.
