Power Regulation Circuit
The power regulation circuit should be used to supply a stable power source for both digital circuits and analog
circuits. The major portion of this circuit includes a +5 volt regulator to convert incoming 9 volts input to 5
volt output. While the motor driver circuit and power amplifier LM386 derive the unregulated 9 volts power
source from full-wave rectifier bridge circuit.
Oscillator Circuit
The oscillator circuit provides the timing source for all digital circuits. The system can enter a power-saving
mode by stopping the oscillator circuit. This mode is useful for conserving the battery life when a power failure
occurs. All internal states and data before entering sleeping mode will be retained.

Option Diodes
There are 4 options available for EM93010. Depending on whether there is a diode installed or not, users
can select between two type of micro-cassette deck, OGM and ICM length, and beep tone function during
telephone conversation recording. These option will be read when the system is first powered up.
