Blinking Annunciator Display Area:
The HD66410 can blink up to 18 dots among a maximum of 72 dots
on the annunciator display. This function is controlled by a blink controller independent of that for the main
dot-matrix display part. The dots to be blinked can be designated by annunciator blink registers 1, 2, and 3,
each of which contains two bits to specify a block and six bits to specify dots to be blinked in the specified
block (Figures 17 and 18).
