Antenna coil
The inductance of the coil should be between
350 and 500
μ
H.
The antenna quality factor (Q) should be
approximately 40.
If the Q factor is too high, it must be reduced with an
additional resistor. It is better not to use this additional
resistor, but instead to use a smaller wire diameter of the
coil.
The following formula describes the approximate
calculation of the number of windings for a desired
inductance and antenna geometry:

For a circular antenna K = 1.01
For a square antenna K = 1.47.

Measuring the inductance
The inductance of the coil designed according to the
instructions as given in Section 11.2 can be measured
using the measuring set-up as shown in Fig.13.
