F external capacitor between the TIMER and GND pins. The capacitor is used for automatic
power-on reset.
Whenever the power is recycled, ensure that it remains off for at least 500 ms. (See the diagram below.)
This method allows the RESET signal to be used without considering the restrictions described in method (1).
The RESET pin may be left open.
Note, however, that a stable reference clock signal (REFCLK or PICLK) must be input within 50 ms after power-
on.
