Processes 2-/6-/7-/8-channel data input from SDI.
Post decoder
Executes one post-decoding process for main decoder output.
No decode process (through) can also be selected.
Post processor
Performs processing of output from main decoder, post decoder, or generator. The post processor can
perform processing in combination with these multiple processes. “Through” can also be selected.
Generator
The generator ignores all data input from SDI and generates signals internally.
IA carrier
Performs high-speed firmware download. Decoding is stopped and output of audio data is muted.

Performs Dolby Digital decoding.

Performs DTS decoding.
AAC decoder
Performs AAC decoding.
PCM2 player
Performs PCM 2-channel playback.
PCM8 player
Performs PCM 6-/7-/8-channel playback.
PL2x decoder

Performs Pro Logic IIx decoding. Expands to up to 7 channels from 2 channels of L and R, and expands up
to 4 channels from 2 channels of LS and RS.
Neo:6 decoder
(20/s2decoder)
Performs DTS Neo:6 decoding. Expands to up to 6 channels from 2 channels of L and R, and expands to
3 channels from 2 channels of LS and RS.
Switcher
Controls the input channel to the post processor.
Tone controller
Performs BASS and TREBLE adjustment for L and R channels.
Bass manager
Performs redistribution of bass signal (bass management).
Scaler
Performs adjustments of master volume and levels between channels.
Post processor A (PPA)
Dynamic range controller (DRC) can be downloaded and operated. to the Post processor A.
Sound field processor
(SFP)
Nch surround (NS) or Sound field (SF) can be downloaded and operated as the Sound field processor.
Position maker (PM)
Virtual surround (VS) or Headphone surround (HS) can be downloaded and operated as the Position maker.
Equalizer A (EQA)
Parametric equalizer 5A (PEQ5A) can be downloaded and operated.
Equalizer B (EQB)
Parametric equalizer 5B (PEQ5B) can be downloaded and operated.
Post processor B (PPB)
Channel divider (CD) can be downloaded and operated to the Post processor B.
Noise generator
Generates pink noise and white noise.
Impulse generator
Generates impulse.
