Bit 0 of this register must be set in
order to use most ISA I/O
peripherals. This is because it
enables the AEN signal which,
although listed in the DMA signal
group, is generated by the DMA
controller for consumption by all
other ISA I/O devices which are not
part of the current DMA transfer.
These I/O devices should ignore I/O
cycles on the bus if AEN is active
because it means that fly-by DMA is
occurring, not an I/O cycle.
Clarify. Bit 0 is
not just for ISA
DMA devices.
