Terminal blocks
Terminal blocks are available for the ADC-11 and ADC-16. They
connect to the input socket on the units and provide screw
terminals to simplify connection to the inputs, without having
to solder.
The terminal blocks provide basic
PCB layouts for some simple
circuits used in data logging. Full
instructions are provided on how
to use the terminal boards
together with examples of useful
circuits.
Voltages can be fed directly into
the data loggers using the boards if
they are within 0 to 2.5V (ADC-11)
or ±2.5V (ADC-16). Alternatively, the
terminal boards can be used to
measure voltages greater than 2.5V
by incorporating a simple potential
divider circuit.

Data logging software included
The ADC-16 offers high resolution (16 bits + sign) and is capable
of detecting signal changes as small as 40μV. It provides a PC
with 8 highly accurate input channels. Pairs of channels can be
used differentially to reject noise. Reference outputs can be used
to directly power sensors.
