whichtheaddressapplies.
AddressBus
Theaddressbussignals(A23-A0)definetheaddressofthebyte(orthemostsignifi-
cantbyte)tobetransferredduringabuscycle.TheaddressisvalidwhileASasserted.
AddressStrobe
TheAddressStrobe(AS)isatimingsignalthatindicatesthevalidityofanaddresson
theaddressbusandofmanycontrolsignals.
DataBus
Thedatasignals(D15-D0)compriseabi-directional,non-multiplexedparallelbusthat
containsthedatabeingtransferredtoorfromtheMCU.Areadorwriteoperationmay
transfer8or16bitsofdata(1or2bytes)inonebuscycle.
DataStrobe
TheDataStrobe(DS)isatimingsignalthatappliestothedatabus.Forareadcycle,
theMCUassertsDStosignaltheexternaldevicetoplacedataonthebus.Forawrite
