theTPUsystemclockdividedbyfour.
TCR2isclockedfromtheoutputofaprescaler.Theprescaler’sinputistheexternal
TCR2pin.Thefoursettingsoftheprescaleraredivideby1,2,4and8.Channels
usingtheTCR1havethecapabilitytoresolvedowntothePRUsystemclock
dividedby8.
TCR2maybeusedasahardwarepulseaccumulatorclockedfromtheexternal
TCR2pin,orasagatedpulseaccumulatorortheclockthatincrementsTCR1.
Allchannelshaveatleastsix16-bitsparameterregisters.Channels14and15each
haveeight16-bitsparameterregisters.Allparameterregistersarecontainedina
dual-portRAM,accessiblefromboththeTPUandCPU.
Aschedulerwiththreeprioritylevelssegregateshigh,middle,andlow-prioritytime
functions.Anychannelmaybeassignedtooneofthesethreeprioritylevels.
Alltimefunctionsaremicrocoded.
Emulationanddevelopmentsupportisprovidedforalltimefunctionfeaturessuch
asbreakpoint,freezeandsinglestep,givinginternalregisteraccessibility.
Coherenttransfercapabilityfortwoparameterisprovidedinhardware.
CoherenttransfercapabilityforNparametersmaybeperformedasaTPU
