1.3. Video Processor Family
Each member of the family contains the entire video,
display, and deflection processing for 4:3 and 16:9, 50/
60 Hz TV sets. Its performance and flexibility allow the
user to standardize his product development. Hard-
ware and software applications can profit from the
modularity, as well as manufacturing, systems support
or maintenance. An overview of the VDP 313xY video
processor family is shown in Fig. 1
