The interface counter descriptions in
Table 47
are intended to be illustrative. For the exact
definition of these counters, refer to the RMON MIB, RFC 1757. All counters count events, octets
or packets that were received from the interface. Packet length never includes preamble or framing
bits (start of frame, end of frame, dribble bits, etc.).
