) is a controller aimed for multi-
media applications on MultiMediaCard systems. It supports the full MultiMediaCard bus protocol as
defined in MultiMediaCard system specification version 1.3. A MultiMediaCard stack of up to 30
cards can be controlled. It provides a simple 8 bit parallel port for microcontroller or standard bus
adapters. If data buffering is required ROSA provides a generic memory interface. A ROSA VHDL
model is available for prototyping and as a reference for host development.
