Queue Structure per Scheduler

a scheduler consists of a set of queues which
are connected over a WFQ (weighted fair queuing) mux and a priority mux (see
Figure 2
).
Each queue of a scheduler can be assigned a maximum queue output rate by Queue
Parameter Table RAM entry via the RateFactor(15:0) bits, (see [
1
], page 66). For
queues which do not need a shaped output rate a zero must be assigned to
RateFactor(15:0). This is a Peak Rate Limiter bypass selection (see [
1
],
Figure 10
,
page 21).

Real Time Queue (= Real Time Bypass)
The value of WFQFactor(15:0) bits, (see [

], page 66) for the real time queue shall be
set to zero to ensure that this queue has the highest priority at the priority mux. All VCs
with CBR traffic (CBR.1 according to [

]) of an individual scheduler can share this queue.
