After the charge pump has completed its charging cycle the charge on the external capacitor can be used by the RF power
amplifier by switching its supply voltage on the VRF pin using the VCAP bit. The VCAP bit should be reset before the next charge
pump cycle is started so as to not load the VCAP pin. The maximum discharge time, tDISCHG, is defined as the time for the voltage
on the external capacitor to decay to the minimum operating voltage, VCAPMIN. This discharge time is dependent on the value of
the external capacitor connected to the VCAP pin and the supply current used by the RF power amplifier.
The typical timing of charge pump operation when limited by the charge time, tCHG, is shown in
Figure 13-17. This maximum charge time will depend on the fCPO clock.The typical timing of charge pump operation when limited
by the charge voltage, VCHGMAX, is shown in Figure 13-18. The sequencing of the charge pump and voltage select can be done
using the CHGPMP firmware routine as described in Section 14.
